The Parksville B’Kawk!, is a chicken-themed festival featuring live music, vendors, games and food/beverage. The festival will be held on the lawn at 29 Main St. in Parksville, NY. This year will be our 4th annual B’Kawk celebration!

There is a real need for activities and entertainment in the town of Parksville/Liberty. We aim first and foremost to provide affordable family entertainment to the local community. We want the event to be accessible to all community members, so there is no admission charge. The annual B’Kawk festival contributes to the Renaissance happening in the hamlet of Parksville and helps add awareness that the town, which has been relatively run down for a number of years, has new things to offer and renewed interest.

Our goal is to bring vitality, culture and good-old-fashioned fun to the community of Parksville and surrounding towns. We plan to see a significant increase in the number of attendees from last year. According to the office of Liberty’s Town Supervisor there is a buzz surrounding the festival (and the revitalization of Main St. Parksville in general). We will provide food and beverage for purchase and as we build a more significant following over the years we hope to acquire the funds to provide more large scale entertainment including bigger and better prizes for contest winners, larger drawing live bands, and more cultural events. The results are tracked by the growing attendance to the event, and the business development happening in the town. Come celebrate the chicken with us!

We look forward to seeing you on the red carpet!!
